Our Story

Our roots in apparel and decoration stretch back to 1988 in a small shop in Connecticut. Over the years, our team has learned and honed their skills in sourcing premium materials and garments. We are focused on developing and enriching partnerships. Quality stands at the center of everything we do.

In 2014, Beantown Brand came into the world and in the past 7 years we have worked to satisfy our customers with distinctive garments, fantastic designs, and excellent customer service.

We have experienced our fair share of ups and downs—some of them self-inflicted—and we have learned and continue to learn. As we turn the page on 2021, we are looking forward to being better at what we do and who we are.

The world is changing, just like we all are, and we have dedicated ourselves to changing with it. There are a thousand things we think are important. Here are a couple of those that are at the top of our priority list for the immediate future:

  • Sustainable: Dyed and decorated in New England, the localized element of our brand contributes to improving our carbon footprint while supporting our local economy. Being a part of each step of our process is what makes Beantown different.

  • Ethically Sourced: We take pride in our garments’ creation. From their construction domestically or overseas to our partner’s dye house in New Hampshire and on to our decoration facilities, we make sure our products come to life in an ethical, clean, and happy environment. Our partners are committed to the health of our people and our planet. Our primary manufacturer is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified and our partner’s dye house uses state of the art equipment to reduce energy consumption and maximize water usage while still performing cutting edge dyeing techniques.
